We are looking for volunteers to help us with the roles listed below. If you have specific skills and talents that are not listed, we would still love to hear from you.

Project Volunteer

• Welcoming new arrivals and helping them to learn about life in Stockton-on-Tees
• Supporting people to apply for volunteer roles in other organisations and prepare for interviews
• Leading ‘orientation walks’ around Stockton-on-Tees
• Support for workshops we will be running such as ‘Welcome to the UK’ and CV and interview skills
• Volunteer Interpreters

Office Volunteer

• Administration
• Social Media and communications
• Fundraising

Advisory group

The Advisory Group is currently in development. It is a group of people with lived experience of seeking asylum, who provide advice and support to Refugees Futures so as to improve our effectiveness.

Volunteer placements

Refugee Futures helps people to get volunteer placements with other organisations as part of our volunteer project.
