What a day! Thank you so much to everyone who came What a day! Thank you so much to everyone who came to Stockton's first asylum fair yesterday.

106 people visited us to meet the different organisations and services working across our borough to support people seeking asylum and refugees.

Thank you to all participating organisations, staff and volunteers for making the day such a success!
We are so excited for the first ever Asylum Servic We are so excited for the first ever Asylum Service Fair in Stockton, bringing together 14 organisations including @catalyst_stockton, @stocktoncouncil, @opendoorne, @justicefirststockton, @clevelandpolice, @stocktonwellbeingchampions, @stocktonriversidecollege, @harbour_support_services and others to help asylum-seekers and refugees.

Who is it for? Asylum-seekers and refugees living in and around Stockton 

When is it? 10am-3pm on Thursday, 28 November

Where is it? Jubilee Centre, Yarm Road, Stockton

What is it? The main hall will have tables for each organisation. Depending on your needs, you will get access to information, advice and appointments. Volunteers will be there to help you find what you need.

Why should I go? 14 organisations will be there to help you with housing, employment, healthcare, benefits, utilities, college and education, children's holiday clubs or legal advice.
Last Friday, members of the Ukrainian refugee comm Last Friday, members of the Ukrainian refugee community joined us and @cafrail_uk for the first of three employability workshops that aim to support participants to find employment that matches their ambitions and skills.

The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants telling us how useful and inspiring they found the session.

Bring your questions to the first ever Asylum Service Fair Thursday, 28 November, 2024, 10am-3pm at Jubilee Centre Yarm Road!

Dr Bike @sustrans will also be there, so bring your bicycle for free maintenance!

Volunteers will help you find the information you need.

Interpretation will be available. Any questions, just message us at info@refugeefutures.org.
